Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking an experienced Floor Care Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. You will ensure all floor surfaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing while supporting infection-control standards.

Responsibilities include operating floor-care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, auto scrubbers, carpet extractors), performing stripping and waxing, and maintaining regular housekeeping tasks. The role requires physical stamina and flexibility, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with floor-care equipment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of stripping and waxing processes.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule.
• Self-motivated, hardworking and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor-care equipment, including buffers and scrubbers.
• Perform stripping, waxing, sealing, and related prep tasks.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep, and clean carpets as needed to maintain floors.
• Follow safety protocols and keep equipment well-maintained.
• Work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor‑care equipment, including high‑speed buffers (20\" & 27\"), side‑by‑side scrubbers, walk‑behind auto scrubbers, and carpet extraction machines.
• Perform floor stripping, waxing, sealing, buffing, and related preparation processes.
• Complete tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain overall floor cleanliness.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with floor‑care equipment and floor‑maintenance procedures.
• Strong understanding of stripping and waxing processes.
• Hardworking, dependable, and self‑motivated.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
