Job summary

Creative Management Technology, Inc. seeks a Floor Techcian for NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH. The role runs Monday–Friday with occasional OT; 2nd shift is 3:00 pm–10:00 pm and pays $21.06 per hour.

Primary duties include operating scrubbers and floor machines, performing preventive checks, and maintaining various floor surfaces. The position requires a valid driver’s license, background check, drug screen, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Health benefits and 401(k) are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to move, lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods and use protective equipment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care equipment including scrubbers and floor machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment.
• Buff and burnish floors; strip, wax, bonnet, and extract carpets.
• Move furniture and heavy objects as needed.
• Comply with safety requirements and procedures at all times.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by management.

Primary Duties:

• Operates various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance, such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and wet/dry vacuums
• Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use
• Provides floor care, including buffing and burnishing on hard surfaces
• Provides floor maintenance, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing,
• bonneting and extracting carpets
• Move furniture and other heavy objects
• Comply with all safety requirements and procedures at all times
• Perform other cleaning duties as specified by management

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to comply with and pass a federal background check as required by the contract
• Submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Have a valid driver's license
• Personal vehicle with current insurance coverage
• Must be able to physically move through the worksiteMust be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods as well as stoop, squat, lift, carry, and push
