Job summary

Creative Management Technology, Inc. (CMTI) is seeking a full-time Custodian for the 2nd shift in Cleveland, OH. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining facilities on a government/commercial contract basis.

Requires ability to pass background checks and drug screen, a valid driver's license, and physical ability to move around a large site. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime, a pay rate of $19.92 per hour, and an emphasis on safety and adherence

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle with current insurance.
• Must be physically able to move through the worksite and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks with safety PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Collect all garbage and recyclables from assigned locations and dispose properly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures daily with germicidal solution.
• Wet mop all floors including restrooms, stairs, elevators, offices, and storage areas.
• Vacuum carpets and dust-mop corridors.
• Dust, clean, and sanitize surfaces; replenish towels, TP, and soap.
• Participate in safety drills and site training; follow safety procedures.

Primary Duties:

• Collect all garbage and recyclables from the assigned locations and place them in the correct disposal dumpster
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures daily with a germicidal solution
• Wet mop all washable floors, including restrooms, stairwells, elevators, office areas, and storage areas
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and dust-mop corridors
• Dust,clean, and sanitize other surfaces
• Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in all dispensers
• Participate in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as requested
• Attend and participate in worksite safety and in-service training
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all safety requirements and procedures at all times

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to comply with and pass a federal background check as required by the contract
• Submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Have a valid driver's license
• Personal vehicle with current insurance coverage
• Must be able to physically move through the worksite
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods as well as stoop, squat, lift, carry, and push
• Must wear protective equipment, such as latex gloves and safety glasses, according to OSHA regulations.
