Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean and safe floors in a long-term care facility. You will perform floor care tasks, buffing and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas and offices, and operate equipment safely.

The role emphasizes teamwork, positive interactions with residents and staff, infection control, and compliance with vaccination policies. A high school diploma is preferred; prior floor care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
