Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean and safe floors in a long-term care facility. You will operate floor care equipment and ensure high standards of cleanliness while providing friendly service to residents and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to infection control policies. A high school diploma is preferred; prior floor care experience is a plus, but not required. Residency in the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
