Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean, attractive floors in a long-term care facility. You will perform floor care, operate equipment safely, and report maintenance issues to the supervisor, while upholding infection control standards and providing excellent resident service.

The role emphasizes teamwork with staff and a positive attitude, with responsibilities that include record-keeping and follow-on duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
