Solaris HealthCare Merritt Island is seeking a Floor Tech to join our housekeeping team. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe facilities and supporting resident care environments in Merritt Island, FL.

The Floor Tech performs routine cleaning tasks, operates floor care equipment, and assists with linen and supply distribution. We value reliability and teamwork in a compassionate, resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of side by side, boost machine, and high-speed buffer.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Prior Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a Plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain carpet throughout the building (shampooing, spotting, vacuuming).
• Maintain tile throughout the building (washing, waxing, buffing, stripping).
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Responsible for linen distribution at end of shift.
• Distribute supplies to each housekeeper at day end.
• Handle trash runs during the day from all locations, and perform other duties as assigned.

Floor Tech Job Summary:

The floor tech Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current Federal, State, Local and Departmental, rules, regulations and procedures, and guidelines. Assures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Floor Tech Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
