Solaris HealthCare Merritt Island is seeking a Floor Tech to join our housekeeping team. You will perform day-to-day floor maintenance, carpet shampooing, tile cleaning, and general cleaning to keep the facility safe and comfortable for residents.

The role requires knowledge of floor care machinery and a high school diploma or GED. Previous SNF experience is a plus, with uniforms provided and opportunities for shift-based pay differentials.

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Prior Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a Plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain carpet throughout the building including shampooing, spotting, and vacuuming.
• Maintain all tile throughout the building including washing, waxing, buffing, and stripping.
• Perform housekeeping duties when needed.
• Distribute linen at end of shift.
• Distribute supplies to housekeepers at end of day.
• Handle trash runs from all locations during the day.
• Other duties as assigned.

Floor Tech Job Summary:

The floor tech Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current Federal, State, Local and Departmental, rules, regulations and procedures, and guidelines. Assures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Floor Tech Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Maintenance of carpet throughout the building including -shampooing, spotting, and vacuuming.
• Maintenance of all tile throughout the building including washing, waxing, buffing, and stripping.

• Is responsible for linen distribution at the end of the shift.
• Distributes supplies to each housekeeper at the end of the day.
