Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, CA is seeking a Floor Tech to perform heavy cleaning duties and floor maintenance across hospital areas. You may float to the Rancho Springs location as needed with orientation provided.

Responsibilities include floor care, cleaning, waste handling, linen transport and adherence to HIPAA and infection control standards. This role requires a high school diploma and the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills for floor care maintenance and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care: vacuuming, stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing and cleaning carpets.
• Maintain floors in offices, corridors, lobbies and patient areas.
• Clean spills and mop floors to keep areas safe and clean.
• Clean air vents, grills and surrounding areas as directed.
• Remove waste and transport to holding areas or compactors.
• Deliver clean linens and pick up soiled linen as needed.
• Ensure hospital safety policies are followed and participate in safety training.
