Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking Floor Techs / Cleaners to support custodial operations at educational facilities. You will sweep, mop, buff, and maintain floors, carpets, windows, and walls while following safety standards.

Physical stamina and a valid driver's license are required; prior cleaning experience is preferred. Education is a high school degree (or equivalent). This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits.

• Experience: Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Job Skills / Requirements

Floor Techs / Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. Floor Techs / Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Sweep and mop floors
• Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
• Clean or shampoo carpets
• Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Follow workplace safety standards
