Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker to clean building areas, floors and surfaces, and prepare rooms for events. The role involves handling waste, moving heavy objects, and postponing travel while joining a dedicated team focused on cleanliness and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpet care and floor finishing is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate carpet and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the community using specialized equipment.

• Set up rooms and furniture using work orders for events.
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages.
• Remove trash and recycling.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste
• Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages
• Remove trash including refuse and recycling
• Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming

What You Will Need

• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
