Excel Care Wilmington, a leading provider of rehabilitation and healing services, is seeking a reliable Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team in a skilled nursing facility setting.

You will perform floor care duties, operate equipment, and support housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Floor Tech, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
• Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
• Ensure all areas are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
• Support housekeeping team as needed.
