This is a full-time, entry-level position in the hospitals and healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance, including stripping, refinishing, and burnishing.
• Utilize equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Follow proper procedures for carpet cleaning, including shampooing, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Operate floor care equipment as assigned.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Disinfect floor care equipment after each use.
• Mix and use cleaning solutions safely, following all safety precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Punctuality and ability to work at varying times of day/night.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
