Laural Parke, a caring senior-living provider, is seeking a hospitality-focused Floor Tech to join our Houston community. Starting pay is $15 per hour, full-time, with a schedule that may require flexible hours to meet resident needs.

This role supports a culture where compassionate service and teamwork drive top-quality care and occupancy. Daily duties include maintaining floors in common areas (carpet and tile), stripping wax, assisting with inventory and supplies, and cleaning trash rooms.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors of common areas (carpet and tile).
• Strip wax from floors.
• Assist supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies.

• Assist housekeepers with annual cleaning.
• Notify supervisor of repairs concerning floors and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work/storage area.
• Support driving top-line revenue and occupancy through engagement.

Laural Parke is recruiting for a hospitality focused Floor Tech to join our team!

Starting Pay: 15/hr

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Floor Tech:

• Maintain all floors of common areas, to include carpet, ceramic tile and vicinity.
• Strip wax from floors.
• Assist supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Clean all trash rooms.
• Assist housekeepers with annual cleanings.
• Notify supervisor of any and all repairs that may be needed, concerning floors and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and storage area. Dispose of debris and defective materials.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Good inter-department communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
• Must demonstrate an interest in working with senior population
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
