Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a floor care associate to perform cleaning and maintenance in commercial settings. The role requires operating buffing equipment, scrubbers and carpet cleaners, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors with attention to detail.

Schedule includes Mon., Tues., Thurs., Sat., and Sun from 3:00PM to 11:00PM, with emphasis on safety and efficiency while maintaining restrooms and common areas. Candidates should be able to lift heavy objects and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor cleaning in commercial settings.
• Ability to operate buffers, scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial settings
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains
• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with other custodial duties as assigned
