Job summary

Ridgeland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean and attractive floors while ensuring the safety and comfort of residents, staff, and visitors. The role runs 8am–3pm and supports a sub-acute care environment.

Responsibilities include mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and light maintenance. Candidates must pass background checks and work well with others in a collaborative setting at a modern skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift, kneel, etc.
• Able to work independently, without direct supervision, but under a supervisor's review.
• Must be able to pass background screening
• Must be able to work well with others, be reliable and have a pleasant attitude.

Floor Tech Working hours 8am - 3pm

Ridgeland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to fill the position of Floor Tech.

The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and attractiveness of floors, while accommodating the needs and safety of residents, staff and visitors.

Duties include:

• Dust and wet mopping
• Buffing, Stripping, and Waxing of floors
• Cleaning baseboards (and other light maintenance).

Must also meet the following requirements:

• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift, kneel, etc.
• Able to work independently, without direct supervision, but under a supervisor's review.
• Must be able to work well with others, be reliable and have a pleasant attitude.
• Must be able to pass background screening
