Job summary

CareCore at Mentor in Mentor, OH is seeking a dependable Floor Tech to support our Environmental Services team. The role focuses on keeping resident and staff areas clean, safe, and welcoming, with a schedule of full-time 9:30am-6pm and an every-other-weekend rotation.

You will strip, wax, buff, and maintain floors and carpets, operate floor-care equipment, follow infection-control procedures, and assist with general housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with floor care in healthcare, LTC, or commercial settings preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail.

CareCore at Mentor is seeking a dependable and hardworking Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Schedule:

Full time 9:30am-6pm, with an every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively

• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures

• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed

• Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and hazard-free

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred, especially in healthcare, long-term care, or commercial settings

• Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals

• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment as required
