Job summary

CareCore Health in Mentor, OH seeks a dependable Floor Tech to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will perform floor care activities and assist with housekeeping as part of the Environmental Services team.

The role is full-time, 9:30am-6pm with an every other weekend rotation, offering benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred, especially in healthcare, long-term care, or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment as required
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and polishing floors
• Maintain carpets through vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extraction as needed
• Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively
• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and hazard-free
