Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floors of common areas, including carpet and tile.
• Strip wax from floors to keep surfaces clean and safe.
• Assist supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Clean all trash rooms and keep areas tidy.
• Assist housekeepers with annual cleanings.
• Notify supervisor of repairs related to floors and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work/storage area and dispose of debris.
• Support a culture that ties decisions to occupancy and revenue goals.

Laural Parke is recruiting for a hospitality focused Floor Tech to join our team!

Starting Pay: 15/hr

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Floor Tech:

• Maintain all floors of common areas, to include carpet, ceramic tile and vicinity.
• Strip wax from floors.
• Assist supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Clean all trash rooms.
• Assist housekeepers with annual cleanings.
• Notify supervisor of any and all repairs that may be needed, concerning floors and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and storage area. Dispose of debris and defective materials.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
