Job description

Job Overview

It is the responsibility of the Floor Supervisor Table Games to directly supervise the operation and conduct of assigned table games and table games personnel while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manages performance of dealers to ensure that each game is dealt to the customer with a high degree of proficiency and that superior customer service is provided to guests.
  • Supervises the operations and conduct of designated table games including opening/closing of table games and completion of all administrative duties necessary for efficient operations.
  • Maintains a standing position for the duration of each shift while actively engaging players and upholding a professional and focused presence.
  • Creates a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
  • Communicates all pertinent information in a timely and responsible manner.
  • Observes, evaluates, and rates players objectively and accurately in accordance with department policy.
  • Maintains proper bankroll levels to accommodate existing or anticipated play.
  • Verifies the accuracy of all documents signed and ensures that all procedures are adhered to.
  • Maintains a clean and friendly environment and promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and responds effectively to guest inquiries.
  • Ensures that all guests are treated with courtesy and respect as well as handling all guest disputes that cannot be resolved by Dealers in a pertinent and fair manner.
  • Notifies the Shift or Assistant Shift Manager immediately of any unusual activity of high limit play or if damage/tampering of equipment is suspected.
  • Must be available to work all shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of casino operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain an Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual abilities.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (see below).

  • Ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, and obtain and manage resources so that work objectives are accomplished efficiently.
  • Ability and willingness to uphold ethical standards and comply with all state and federal laws and company policies and procedures. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information and avoiding conflict of interest situations.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division correctly.
  • Ability to distinguish winning/losing combinations and settle wagers accordingly.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook computer programs proficiently.
Physical Demands
  • Work is performed in a Casino/Hotel setting. You must be tolerant of varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality. You may be exposed to smoke.
  • Prolonged Standing: The ability to stand for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this position, the Team Member is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Balancing, stooping (up to 45 degrees), kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move/lift objects and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Repetitive Motions associated with supervising card games, roulette games and dice games.
  • The position involves repetitive hand, wrist, and finer movements, including frequent reaching, handling, and dexterity required to deal and collect dice, handle gaming chips, and operating equipment.
  • Eye/hand coordination associated with supervising card games, roulette games and dice games. Visual acuity and eye/hand coordination is required to accurately identify cards, chips, and player actions under varying lighting conditions.
  • Use of standard office equipment. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
