Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel in California is seeking a Supervisor, Floor Table Games to oversee all table game activity under the Manager. You will ensure compliance with policies and supervise dealers, providing prompt service to gaming patrons.
The role requires knowledge of major games, ability to manage chip inventories, and proficiency in Title 31 procedures while coordinating openings and closings with the team.
Under the direction of the Manager, Pit the Supervisor, Floor Table Games is responsible for supervising the activity of all table games, ensuring the gaming activity and dealing procedures comply with table games policies and procedures. The Supervisor, Floor Table Games may conduct a variety of casino games along with providing prompt and courteous service to all gaming patrons.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum one (1) year of Gaming experience related to Table Games with knowledge of all major games including Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Pai Gow Poker, or completion of the internal training program required.
Must have the ability to make gambling-related decisions and deal with a variety of variables in situations where conflicting information exists. Good motivator of people. Good communication and people skills. Ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult customers. Must be versatile and able to focus on more than one thing at a time. Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and composed manner.
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings, via videoconference and over the telephone. Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility. Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties. Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
