Job summary

Trillium in Fort Point seeks an experienced Floor Supervisor to join our Fort Point team as part of the leadership for the front of house. The role prioritizes hospitality, guest experience, and team leadership in a craft-beer focused environment.

Expect to train and supervise FOH staff, coordinate with the Private Event Coordinator for events, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism. Medical benefits and a 401k match are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in bartender/server/manager roles in a restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent guest service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work flexible weekend schedule (Fri–Sun) including nights/holidays.
• Knowledge of alcohol service; TIPS training a plus.
• Able to move up to 25 lbs unassisted and 50+ lbs with help.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: train and supervise front of house staff; assign tasks before, during, and after open hours; provide daily feedback to FOH staff; support event execution with Private Event Coordinator; handle staff inquiries and conflicts.
• Customer Service: promote excellent service; respond to complaints tactfully; address inquiries via email, phone, and in person.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Job description

Trillium is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor to join our Fort Point team! This position will be part of our leadership team for the front of house. The ideal candidate personifies the fundamental elements of hospitality and has a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Staff Management

• Train and supervise front of house staff
• Direct work for employees including assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
• Assist the floor managers with the development of FOH staff by providing daily feedback on performance
• Work with Private Event Coordinator to execute weekly semi-private and private functions
• Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from restaurant employees

Customer Service

• Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service
• Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Promptly respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in-person

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary

Desired Qualifications & Abilities

Qualifications & Experience

• Required 5+ years of experience working as a bartender, server, or manager in a restaurant environment.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement and initiative
