DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to support daily operations of the housekeeping department. The successful candidate will help ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness standards, complete accurate inspections, and oversee room attendants to maintain timely room availability.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping procedures and inspection standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness and presentation deficiencies.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate team members while maintaining accountability.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support room attendants to ensure guest rooms are cleaned according to hotel standards and established procedures.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to verify cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and amenity standards.
• Ensure rooms are properly inspected and approved before being released as ready for guest occupancy.
• Identify cleanliness deficiencies and communicate necessary corrections to room attendants, following up to ensure issues are resolved.

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with daily staffing, assignments, training, and department operations.
• Coach and train housekeeping team members on proper cleaning techniques, inspection standards, safety procedures, and productivity expectations.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment within the housekeeping department.

Job Description

What you will be doing

Supervise and support room attendants to ensure guest rooms are cleaned according to hotel standards and established procedures.

Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, including vacant-ready rooms, to verify cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and amenity standards.

Ensure rooms are properly inspected and approved before being released as ready for guest occupancy.

Identify cleanliness deficiencies and communicate necessary corrections to room attendants, following up to ensure issues are resolved.

Monitor daily room assignments, cleaning progress, and room status to support timely room availability.

Assist the Executive Housekeeper with daily staffing, assignments, training, and department operations.

Coach and train housekeeping team members on proper cleaning techniques, inspection standards, safety procedures, and productivity expectations.

Report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, missing items, and other room deficiencies to the appropriate department.

Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, reporting shortages or replenishment needs.

Ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness standards, brand requirements, workplace safety procedures, and company policies.

Address guest room cleanliness concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.

Maintain accurate inspection records, room status updates, and other required departmental documentation.

Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Strong understanding of hotel guest room cleaning procedures and inspection standards.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness and presentation deficiencies.

Ability to coach, train, and motivate team members while maintaining accountability.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the property for extended periods and perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
