Job summary

Covenant Village Inc. is seeking a compassionate Floor Nurse (RN or LPN) for a full-time day shift (6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) in our retirement community. You will deliver direct nursing care to residents, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team to promote resident well-being.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN/LPN license, prior long-term care experience, and strong assessment and communication skills to support a resident-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and oversee resident health and wellness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physicians and appropriate team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and family members.
• Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and health concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and community regulations.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other caregiving staff as assigned.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
