Palace Poker is Grand Prairie’s premier private members-only poker club, where world-class service, elegance, and poker integrity take center stage that will be opening the Summer of 2025. Our stunning new club will set a new standard for private poker experiences, offering high-end cash games, elite tournaments, and unmatched hospitality.

Palace Poker is looking for Floor Managers who are responsible for creating a fun-filled and exciting poker experience for our members while supervising and securing their assigned Poker game, per department policies and procedures. This position will begin employment this summer, possibly June-July.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop, monitor and lead team members in such a manner to maintain a positive employee relations culture.
• Motivate and supervise staff in order to ensure that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established departmental and guest service objectives.
• Assist with procedures, trains, schedules and evaluates team members in keeping with company and departmental directives, policies and procedures.
• Report shift activity on a daily basis in the poker logbook and coordinate with other shifts.
• Observe players’ behavior for signs of cheating such as marking, switching, or counting cards, notify Director or Assistant Director of Poker of suspected cheating.
• Evaluate guest play and extend complimentary services.
• Resolve customer and team member complaints if you cannot escalate to shift manager.
• Explain and interpret house rules, such as poker rules and betting limits, for patrons.
• Ensure procedures for opening and closing of the poker room are followed according to established procedures.
• Assist with determining how many poker tables to open each day and schedule staff accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• The minimum age for this position is 21.
• 3+ years of experience as a Floor Supervisor in a poker setting preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of TDA
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of poker and rules.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced, highpressure environment while maintaining a high level of precision and quality.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.
