Murdoch Developmental Center is hiring a Floor Maintenance Assistant (S) to perform cleaning and maintenance of floor surfaces and related projects. The role is part of the Environmental Services Department and includes support for snow removal duties on shift.

The primary purpose of this position is to perform cleaning and maintenance of various types of floor surfaces (i.e., stripping/finishing/shampooing carpets, etc.) and other specialized projects for Murdoch Development Center. This team specialized in floor care and reports to their assigned areas as scheduled. Floor Maintenance assistant works within Environmental Services Department.This position’s work is guided by a daily schedule for general assignments and special project work. This position is part of the snow removal team and will be expected to shovel snow various times during a shift.
ALL employees of Murdoch Center are designated as ESSENTIAL for adverse weather and emergency events. This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
Recruitment Range: $31,200.00 - $46,991.00

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Working knowledge of floor maintenance and floor care products.
General knowledge of cleaning procedures
