Job summary

Opensity Solutions seeks a Floor Host to create a welcoming atmosphere and support a team of floor hosts. You will help ensure meetings run smoothly, verify room needs, and maintain a pristine space across office floors.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in service/hospitality, strong tech skills (Office, Google Docs, AV equipment), and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This is an on-site role in Dallas with a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a service industry such as hotel, restaurant, hospitality or event planning.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and AV equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for meetings on all office floors.
• Verify room requirements prior to meetings via email.
• Perform floor tours and ensure space is clean and presentable.
• Identify solutions and anticipate client needs to ensure first point of contact resolution.
• Monitor occupancy and reclaim unused meeting space as appropriate.
• Coordinate with facility maintenance to keep space pristine.
• Return rooms to ready state after meetings and assist guests as needed.

Your primary focus will be to ensure that our guests have a positive and memorable experience while overseeing and supporting a team of floor hosts. Your leadership skills, coupled with your passion for hospitality, will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and fostering a sense of community within our establishment. This role reports to the Lead Floor Host or the Client Relations Manager.Schedule: Mondays: 9:30AM-3:30PM, Tues- Friday's: 9:30AM-6:30PM - 37.5 hours per weekJob ResponsibilitiesProvide real-time support for meetings on all office floors, connect with meeting organizers and guests as meetings begin.Prior to meetings, verify room requirements via email to ensure client’s expectations are met. (ex. lighting, supplies, audio visual equipment, temperature, etc.)Continuously perform floor tours and ensure the entire space is in optimal appearance and condition.Utilize tools and resources to identify creative solutions and anticipate customer needs, in our commitment to maintain a first point of contact resolution.Keep abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person, through email, and on telephone. Advocating for the client’s hoteling culture and mobile way of working by supporting guests and visitors who need help securing workspace.Verify occupancy of rooms and reclaim unused meeting space as appropriate.Optimize meeting rooms and workspaces, making sure space that is reserved is used.Monitoring all meeting rooms for participants arriving/leaving with scheduled timing, rooms booked that have no show and the correct number of participants booked and closes work area at scheduled times, ensuring full preparation for operation/function.Work with the facility maintenance team to ensure that the space remains pristine.
