Opensity Solutions is seeking a Floor Host to be the go-to person on the floor, delivering a hospitality-based experience and guiding guests to the right resources. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a proactive service mindset.

You will provide real-time meeting support, verify room requirements, and help optimize space and workflow across office floors to ensure a seamless client experience. The team values attentiveness, adaptability, and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a service industry such as hotel/restaurant, hospitality or event planning preferred.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and audio/visual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for meetings on all office floors and connect with organizers and guests.
• Conduct floor tours and maintain optimal appearance and condition of the space.
• Identify solutions to meet client needs and act as a first point of contact for queries in person, by email, and by phone.
• Support guests in securing workspace and advocate for the hoteling culture and mobile working.
• Verify room occupancy and optimize use of meeting rooms and spaces according to schedule.
• Coordinate with facilities to keep spaces pristine and report issues via tickets or email.

The Floor Host is the "go to" person on the floor focused on delivering a hospitality-based experience to our customers and responsible for providing information and directing assistance while interfacing with all office services. This person provides visible support, on office floors, for guests and visitors, focused on connecting them with the right people/resources to get what they need and responding to ad hoc questions.

Job Functions

• Provide real-time support for meetings on all office floors, connect with meeting organizers and guests as meetings begin. Prior to meetings, verify room requirements via email to ensure client’s expectations are met. (ex. lighting, supplies, audio visual equipment, temperature, etc.)
• Continuously perform floor tours and ensure the entire space is inoptimalappearance and condition.
• Utilize tools and resources toidentifycreative solutions andanticipatecustomer needs, in our commitment tomaintaina first point of contact resolution. Keep abreast of all in-house and area functionsin order toanswer questions and concerns withtimelyand knowledgeable responses, in person, through email, and on telephone.
• Advocating for the client’s hoteling culture and mobile way of working by supporting guests and visitors who need help securing workspace.
• Verify occupancy of rooms and reclaim unused meeting space asappropriate.Optimizemeeting rooms andworkspaces,making sure space that is reserved is used.
• Monitoring all meeting rooms for participants arriving/leaving with scheduled timing, rooms booked that have no show and the correct number of participants booked and closes work area at scheduled times, ensuring full preparation for operation/function.
• Work with the facility maintenance team to ensure that the spaceremainspristine. This includes ticketing and emailing any issues such as furniture stains, damaged carpet, lightingissues,etc.
• Provide a contact card foradditionalin-meeting support and return upon completion to reset the room for the following meeting.

Position Requirements/Experience/ Education:

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a service industry such as Hotel and Restaurant, Hospitality and/or Event Planning preferred
• Must have strong technical skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs, audio/visual equipment)
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Good listening and professional demeanor
• Must be able to navigate clients of every professional level.
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor

The Compensation range for this role is up to 21.11 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s location, skills, experience and qualifications.
