Qualifications

$1000 Sign-On Bonus

The Casino Cashier controls and accounts for transactions at the cage windows, handling high-volume cash and non-cash transactions courteously, accurately, and timely. The Floor Attendant maintains cleanliness in casino public areas and responds to guest requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary guest service with respect, passion, and dedication.
• Process credit/debit card advancements, cash personal checks, and exchange cash, chips, and tickets.
• Perform transactions accurately and with integrity.
• Balance cash drawer at shift end.
• Enter patron transactions into the system accurately.
• Prepare paperwork, balance sheets, and documents per standards.
• Adhere to policies and procedures to maintain integrity.
• Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cages/departments accurately.
• Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service, notifying managers of concerns.
• Maintain positive relations with guests and team members.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of high-volume cash handling or cashiering experience, preferably in a casino or banking setting.
• Strong cash handling and counting skills.
• Proficient in basic math and ten-key experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to deliver excellent service and create positive guest experiences.
• Ability to learn computer systems.
• Outgoing personality with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain a gaming license from the SD Gaming Commission.
