Qualifications
$1000 Sign-On Bonus
The Casino Cashier controls and accounts for transactions at the cage windows, handling high-volume cash and non-cash transactions courteously, accurately, and timely. The Floor Attendant maintains cleanliness in casino public areas and responds to guest requests.
Responsibilities
- Provide legendary guest service with respect, passion, and dedication.
- Process credit/debit card advancements, cash personal checks, and exchange cash, chips, and tickets.
- Perform transactions accurately and with integrity.
- Balance cash drawer at shift end.
- Enter patron transactions into the system accurately.
- Prepare paperwork, balance sheets, and documents per standards.
- Adhere to policies and procedures to maintain integrity.
- Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cages/departments accurately.
- Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service, notifying managers of concerns.
- Maintain positive relations with guests and team members.
- Ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1 year of high-volume cash handling or cashiering experience, preferably in a casino or banking setting.
- Strong cash handling and counting skills.
- Proficient in basic math and ten-key experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to deliver excellent service and create positive guest experiences.
- Ability to learn computer systems.
- Outgoing personality with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented.
- Must be 21+ and able to obtain a gaming license from the SD Gaming Commission.
