Job summary

Jjwws in York is seeking a floor care technician to clean and maintain all flooring surfaces in the facility. You will sweep, mop, strip, refinish floors, vacuum carpets, move furniture as needed, and ensure equipment is kept in good condition.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and 1 year of floor cleaning experience. The role includes safe chemical handling with PPE and a nightly shift from 9:30pm to 6am with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience cleaning floors.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, strip and refinish floors per SOP.
• Vacuum and scrub carpeted surfaces as required.
• Move furniture and restore original positions after cleaning.
• Monitor supplies and request additional solutions as needed.
• Keep floor machines clean and in good condition.
• Handle cleaning chemicals following guidelines with PPE.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisor.
• Operate a forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
