Carlson Building Maintenance in Sun Prairie, WI is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard floor and carpeted areas in a large retail environment, using scrubbers, buffers, extractors and other equipment.

This role offers weekly pay, benefits, and a training program, with a 5:00 AM start and ~39.5 hours weekly; weekend availability required. Join a team that values reliability and independent work while building valuable floor care skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull floor care equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently
