Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Floor Technicians in Scranton, PA. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment with options for full-time or part-time schedules.

Training is available, with evenings possible and a starting pay of $14.00 per hour. Essential functions include operating floor care equipment, using automated tools for large areas, and performing carpet/upholstery care, while adhering to safety procedures

Qualifications

Previous floor care technician or related role preferred.
Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Executes other duties as assigned by manager.
