Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and vacuuming.
• Care for floors including carpet, tile, wood with appropriate equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions following safety specifications.
• Sweep and shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Move heavy furniture and supplies using hand trucks.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service and stock restrooms.
• Clean furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Clean laboratory equipment with appropriate solvents.
• Monitor security and safety after hours.
• Notify managers about major repairs.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and parking areas.
• Requisition supplies for cleaning and maintenance.
