Job summary

Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Floor Technician to keep resident areas clean, safe, and welcoming. You will work with the housekeeping team to maintain floors throughout the facility, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing surfaces.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures. Prior floor-care or janitorial experience is preferred, and experience with commercial

Qualifications

• Prior floor-care, housekeeping, janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial floor-care equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and restore hard-surface flooring and carpeting.
• Strip, wax, buff, burnish, and polish floors.
• Operate floor-care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuums.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection-control procedures.
• Assist the housekeeping team with additional duties as needed.
