Job summary

The Belmont at Twin Creeks in Allen, TX is seeking a Floor Technician (PRN) to perform scheduled floor care tasks. Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, waxing, and maintaining floors and carpets under supervision, in a healthcare setting.

Experience with floor care and basic cleaning equipment is preferred. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies, and responsive support to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care.
• Experience in institutional housekeeping is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all floor surfaces.
• Buffs, waxes, strips, and top scrubs floors.
• Extracts and vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Uses proper chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules.
• Attends weekly in-services and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
