Job summary

Friends Homes is seeking a Full Time Floor Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness in our eldercare facilities. You will operate floor machines, sweep and mop tile floors, vacuum carpets, and assist with light dusting and trash removal.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with Floor machines a must
• Sweeps and mops tile floors using waxer and buffer
• Vacuum rooms with carpeting
• Occasionally dust surfaces in Administration offices (furniture, windowsills, etc.)
• Empty trash bins
• Clean bathroom sinks and toilets
• Clean mirrors and windows
• May be required to move furniture to strip and wax floors

Responsibilities

Must be 18 years of age or older

Required:

• Prior experience with Floor machines a must
• Sweeps and mops tile floors (constantly required to strip and wax floors using waxer and buffer)
• Vacuum rooms with carpeting
