Job summary

Environmental Service Systems, LLC is hiring a Floor Technician to scrub, shine, clean and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas. The technician will operate floor care equipment and follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries, while supporting multi-trade projects.

This role involves training new staff, maintaining equipment, and assisting with general cleaning as needed in commercial facilities. Employment is full-time or part-time depending on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of floor technician experience
• General commercial cleaning experience including restrooms, offices, common areas
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care equipment including scrubbers, machines, vacuums, burnishers, and carpet extractors
• Dust mop, clean and burnish floors, and refinish as per maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with others to complete floor care within multi-trade projects
• Provide daily preventive maintenance on equipment
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and safety-compliant chemical use
• Train new employees in floor care methods
• Assist with general cleaning duties as needed
