Job summary

Highmark Health Environmental Services is seeking an Associate to maintain floors in a clean and sanitary condition, perform linen tasks, and support department operations. You will operate automatic floor machines, burnishers, extractors and other equipment while following safety and infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating floor care equipment.
• Knowledge of automatic floor machine, battery burnisher, cord burnisher, battery extractor, cord extractor, rotary floor machine, riding floor scrubber and riding vacuum.

Responsibilities

• Complete major floor cleaning including stripping and refinishing, shower scrubbing, shampoo, extract and burnishing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment.
• Follow safety and infection control policies including PPE, hand washing, and waste handling as well as emergency procedures.
• Assist with linen removal, trash pickup, stocking and distributing supplies.
• Perform special projects such as changing curtains, washing windows, moving furniture, and organizing storage areas.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment closet organization.
• Follow leadership instructions and participate in training and attendance policy.
