Job summary

SOLID Surface Care is hiring Floor Technicians at multiple locations in California. You’ll join a team to clean, restore, and maintain various floor types in commercial facilities, with paid on-the-job training for entry-level hires.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work with a team to clean, restore, and maintain floors and surfaces in commercial facilities throughout your area. Depending on your experience and training, you’ll learn to:

• Clean and maintain carpet, tile, vinyl, stone, hardwood, and other surfaces
• Use professional floor-care equipment and tools
• Perform services such as scrubbing, buffing, stripping, waxing, and other specialized floor-care work
• Follow safety procedures and SOLID quality standards
• Work alongside experienced technicians and learn new skills on the job
• Deliver great service for our customers

What We’re Looking For

• Are dependable and show up ready to work

• Can work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Can stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout a shift
• Can travel occasionally based on customer needs
• Can meet applicable client-site background requirements

Floor care, janitorial, facilities, maintenance, construction, warehouse, landscaping, or other hands-on experience is helpful — but not required for entry-level opportunities.
