Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician for the Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, TX. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment on a full-time and part-time basis.

The position requires 1 year of floor care experience, the ability to operate floor care machinery, and adherence to safety procedures. Fixed pay rate is $15.50 per hour with benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior floor care experience required.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
