Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors across assigned locations, operating industrial floor care equipment and following safety standards. You will perform stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and carpet care as needed, ensuring clean, safe surfaces.

Ideal candidates have prior floor care experience, can read and write, and perform basic math. This role may require lifting and standing for long periods and adherence to PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write and perform simple math.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing).
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstering (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Properly processes all waste including MSW and infectious waste per safety standards.
• Removes trash, recyclables, soiled linen, and supplies; disinfects receptacles and carts as needed.
• Follows Aramark safety, sanitation, and infection control standards and PPE requirements.
