Job summary

Crothall Healthcare in Clemmons, NC is hiring for a Floor Technician to maintain and restore hard-surface floors and operate industrial floor care equipment. The role is full-time with a 4:00 pm–12:00 am schedule, rotating weekends and holidays, and includes online applications only.

Responsibilities include stripping, refinishing, burnishing and spray cleaning, operating machines, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpet and upholstery with shampooing, damp surface, extractions and spot cleaning.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Job description

• We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: Novant Health - 6915 Village Medical Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
