Job summary

Friendship Village in Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate Floor Tech to maintain floors and carpets across the community, including Village Apartments, Health Center, Laundry, and Garden Homes. This full-time first shift (7a-3p) role starts at $16.00 per hour and offers benefits and paid time off.

A positive, safety-minded approach is essential for minimal disturbance to residents. Responsibilities include scrubbing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, and completing work orders for events and daily

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate team player with initiative and integrity.
• Ability to clean residents' rooms and all areas with minimal disturbance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains floors and carpets throughout the community via scrubbing, stripping, waxing, cleaning, vacuuming, mopping.
• Assists with extra assignments and work orders.
• Completes event setup and takedown work orders across the community.

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Floor Tech that is responsible for cleanliness of Friendship Village - Kalamazoo, including but not limited to Village Apartments, Woodside, Health Center, Laundry, Garden Homes, and all areas associated with Friendship Village - Kalamazoo; always following departmental guidelines and procedures. full-time first shift (7a-3p) position with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as a Floor Tech:

• Maintains floors and carpets throughout Community, including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, cleaning carpets, vacuuming, mopping and spot treatment/cleaning.
• Assists with extra assignments and work orders.
• Complete work orders for event set ups and take downs throughout Community.
