Job summary

Friendship Village in Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate and energetic Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the community, including Village Apartments, Health Center, Laundry, Garden Homes, and all related areas. This full-time, first shift (7a–3p) role offers a starting pay of $15.00 per hour and benefits.

Ideal candidates have housekeeping or laundry experience, a team mindset, and the ability to clean resident rooms with minimal disturbance.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping/Laundry preferred but not required.
• A compassionate team player that has initiative and integrity.
• Ability to clean Residents rooms and all areas with minimal disturbance to inhabitants.

Responsibilities

• Completes Work Orders assigned by Director or by Residents.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Supplies are put away in appropriate areas.
