Job summary

Carlson Building Maintenance is seeking an entry level Floor Care Technician to maintain floors across client sites in the Upper Midwest. You will operate floor machines, perform stripping, waxing, buffing and carpet care under limited supervision, and interact professionally with store personnel and customers.

This role emphasizes dependability, physical stamina, and a willingness to train within a growing company that promotes from within.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on weekends.
• Schedule: Sunday to Saturday, 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., 35 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation or access to public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor machines to maintain hard surfaces and carpet.
• Perform sweeping and debris cleanup.
• Vacuum spaces and restore cleanliness.
• Clean restrooms and maintain hygienic standards.
• Perform quality control checks on cleaning results.
• Participate in new hire training.
• Represent Carlson at client sites with professionalism.
