Job summary

Albermarle Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 120-bed healthcare center in Charlottesville, is seeking an experienced Floor Care Technician. The role focuses on maintaining clean, sanitary environments by stripping, scrubbing, refinishing and buffing floors, and by vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets throughout the center.

Previous floor care experience is preferred; knowledge of floor cleaners and equipment is an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor chemicals, cleaners and equipment is an asset.
• Ability to work with patients, families and staff in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Strip, scrub, sweep, refinishes and buff tiled floor areas.
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpets throughout the center.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment in collaboration with care teams.
• Work effectively with patients, family members and other staff.
