Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long‑term care facility. You will operate floor care equipment, perform cleaning, buffing and refinishing tasks, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

This role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and good communication with residents and colleagues. A high school diploma is preferred; prior floor care experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Must comply with infection control policies.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
