Job summary

Solaris HealthCare College Park in Orlando, FL is seeking a Floor Tech to join our housekeeping team. You will perform daily floor care, including carpet shampooing, tile cleaning, waxing, buffing, and stripping to keep the facility clean, safe, and inviting for residents and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and values prior SNF experience. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, daily pay options, and uniforms, with opportunities for advancement in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of floor care equipment including buffers and polishers.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carpets by shampooing, spotting, and vacuuming.
• Maintain all tile areas by washing, waxing, buffing, and stripping.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Distribute linen at the end of the shift.
• Distribute supplies to housekeepers at the end of the day.
• Responsible for trash runs during the day from all assigned locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
