Job summary

CW Resources, a national non-profit, is seeking a Floor Care Technician with at least 1 year of experience to keep our spaces spotless. You’ll clean various floor surfaces, operate buffers and scrubbers, and help maintain a safe, professional environment.

This hands-on role offers steady hours, team collaboration, and opportunities to learn advanced floor care techniques and safety practices while contributing to a mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year hands on experience as commercial floorcare technician or similar.
• Experience using floor care machines such as buffers, auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
• Knowledge of floor types (tile, vinyl, carpet, concrete) and how to clean and maintain each properly.
• Strong attention to detail—takes pride in clean, polished results.
• Good time management—can stay on task and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated—able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player—works well with others to complete larger projects.
• Clear communication—can report issues and follow directions.
• Positive attitude—takes ownership of the job and stays professional.

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for floor surfaces using the right methods for each surface.
• Operate floor care machines such as buffers, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors, burnishers, and vacuums.
• Perform advanced floor care like stripping wax/finish and applying new coatings.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Use equipment safely and keep it cleaned and stored properly.
• Follow OSHA and facility safety standards.
• Work on your own or with a team to complete daily duties and larger projects.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor and communicate needs.
