Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Floor Technician to perform daily floor care and comprehensive custodial duties in a Cushman & Wakefield facility. The role supports the Custodial Manager and requires attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include interior cleaning, exterior cleaning, minor maintenance, and assisting with inventory and tenant moves. Weekend on-call availability is required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Bilingual
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment
• Prior floor care experience (buffing/stripping/polishing) desirable
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to work weekends (on call)
• Reliable, thorough, observant, organized and courteous
• Effective listener and team player
• Understand written or verbal instructions from supervisor
• Some cleaning experience and basic mechanical knowledge preferred
• Practice safety protocols and follow work orders

Responsibilities

• Daily floor care using equipment such as extractors, buffers, sweepers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Interior cleaning: trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning, and restocking.
• Exterior cleaning and basic maintenance of buildings, parking areas, and grounds as assigned.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks (bulbs, fixtures, painting, plumbing) and simple repairs.
• Assist with inventory control, supplies, and tenant moves as needed.
• Notify management promptly of spills, safety issues, or equipment problems.
